Biography

Dr. Kline describes himself as lucky “in being part of an amazing organization that is 100% dedicated to the health and wellness of infants and children in Northern Virginia and beyond.” He has served as the chairman of the Brain Trust committee: a group of doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals who strive to improve the neurologic outcomes for vulnerable infants. He has published several papers and book chapters on the subject. One of the favorite parts of the job is getting to know the families of our babies.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, including three young children (five if you include their dogs). An active runner for many years, Dr. Kline has proudly completed multiple Ironman Triathlons.

Professional Interests

Neuroprotection in the newborn, including therapeutic hypothermia.
